Warrior Watch: Celebrating Positive Choices at MGCS
This year at Myrtle Grove Christian School, we are excited to introduce a new campus-wide initiative called Warrior Watch. This program was designed to reinforce positive behavior, shared expectations, and Christ-centered character in our students.
Through Warrior Watch, faculty and staff are intentionally WATCH-ing for students who demonstrate the values we want to see every day across campus:
- W – Working diligently in the classroom and beyond
- A – Acting with respect toward adults
- T – Treating others with kindness
- C – Caring for our school and its spaces
- H – Honoring the Lord in words and actions
When students are “caught” modeling these behaviors, they receive a Warrior Watch slip as encouragement and recognition. These slips are placed into Warrior Watch boxes around campus. At designated times, nominees are recognized during chapel and on morning announcements, and names are drawn at random to receive a special Warrior Watch coin.
More than prizes, Warrior Watch is about celebrating growth, reinforcing expectations, and pointing students toward choices that reflect responsibility, respect, and faith. We love seeing our Warriors encourage one another and take pride in living out these values each day.
Way to go, Warriors! Warrior Watch is one of the many ways our MGCS community encourages students to build character, make positive choices, and honor the Lord each day.
