Emily graduated from UNCW with a BA in Elementary Education. She has 14 years of teaching experience. She started her career at WCA and most recently taught for New Hanover County Schools. Emily and her husband Gerald have been married for 28 years. They are the parents of three young adult daughters. Emily is a member of Impact Church. She enjoys the beach, spending time with family, and traveling to Orlando.
