The Student Support Team (SST) offers assistance to teachers through in-classroom intervention as well as select small group instruction.
In-classroom intervention includes the Student Support Team:
- assisting teachers with modifications of materials.
- offering materials/manipulatives to help students with focus and attention issues.
- on-going observational support and recommendations for students with identified learning differences.
- assisting in identified areas of needs for students.
Small group instruction includes guided study sessions which are select small group instruction opportunities offered primarily for middle school as the need arises. These interventions offer pull-out from study halls to provide academic support for specific subject areas identified through grades review, assessment analysis, and teacher referral.
