Welcome to Parents in Prayer at MGCS
At Myrtle Grove Christian School, we believe in the power of prayer and the strength of community. Parents in Prayer is a group where everyone is welcome—parents, grandparents, and MGCS friends alike. Whether you’ve been part of our school community for years or are just joining us, we invite you to experience the blessings of connecting with others who are dedicated to praying over every aspect of MGCS.
Join Us for Our Weekly Meetings!
We kick off the school year at our first meeting in early September. This is the perfect opportunity to meet fellow parents, share in prayer, and start the school year united in our faith and purpose. Our meetings will continue weekly, every Tuesday at 8:20am in the library of our partner church, Myrtle Grove Evangelical Presbyterian Church, and you’re welcome to participate as your schedule allows. Whether you feel comfortable praying aloud or prefer to intercede silently, your presence is valued and appreciated.
What We Do
Parents in Prayer is a dedicated group of parents and grandparents who gather each week to pray for our students, staff, and the entire MGCS community. We receive prayer requests through email, text, and from our student prayer boxes located in the front hallway and near the cafeteria. Every student and staff member is personally prayed for throughout the year by a member of our group.
How to Get Involved
Whether you can attend every week or just occasionally drop in, your participation makes a difference. If you have prayer requests, questions, or concerns, please reach out to us at mgcspip@gmail.com. You can specify if you’d like your request to be shared in detail or kept anonymous. We are committed to respecting the privacy of each request while ensuring that every need is lifted up in prayer.
