MGCS continually upgrades facilities and expands programs so students are equipped to serve others and succeed academically.  Money from the Annual Fund helps sustain these ongoing improvements. 

Recently, seventh grader, Blair Lefler was recognized by the Wilmington Star News as one of 15 outstanding young southeastern North Carolinians.  Adventurous, athletic, and selfless, she makes a difference in her church, and in her community.  Julie Thompson, MGCS teacher and JV basketball coach, describes Blair as hardworking on and off the court, a peacemaker who plays post aggressively. “Blair plays big under the basket; she pivots and shoots better than any I’ve seen.”  We are honored to be part of Blair’s life as she serves the world outside of our classrooms.
