This week, we reached a significant milestone. Thanks to gifts and pledges from parents, grandparents, staff, alumni families, and friends of the school our Annual Fund total passed the 100,000 mark. As of today our total stands $101,645. We rejoice in God’s generous provision and ask that you join us in praying that He provides the remaining $48.355. We seek these funds for three reasons.
the governing board of Myrtle Grove Christian School hosted a parent forum to engage with and form deeper relationships with MGCS parents, who the board refers to as Mission Partners. The ends or goals of the school were discussed at length and an updated version was the outcome of the meeting.
After spending over 20 years in college athletics as a student athlete, coach, and chaplain as well as serving two churches as senior pastor, Dr. David Reid joined our MGCS family this fall to teach 8th grade Bible. Every Spring, MGCS 5th graders complete a rigorous manners course that spans several weeks and culminates in a reception where they practice and demonstrate these important life skills.
