Integrating Faith and Learning: How MGCS Weaves Biblical Worldview into Education
There’s something truly special about being part of Myrtle Grove Christian School (MGCS). Every day, we witness God working in amazing ways, and honestly, it’s such a privilege to be part of this incredible journey. We’re passionate about integrating faith into every part of the learning experience, and it’s awe-inspiring to see how this approach transforms the hearts and minds of our students.

Here’s an example: In our 2024 Spiritual Formation Student Survey, nearly 90% of the seventh- and eighth-grade students shared that they had accepted Jesus as their personal Savior. How incredible is that? These aren’t just numbers—they’re young lives changed by the power of God in a community where He’s at the center. It’s a reminder of the eternal impact that can happen when faith and learning are intimately connected.
Think about it: kids spend about 14 of their first 18 years in school. That’s a lot of time to shape not just what they know but who they become. At MGCS, we see that time as a sacred opportunity. We’re intentional about offering a strong academic foundation wrapped in faith-based principles, drawing from the rich traditions of Charlotte Mason and Classical Christian education. It’s a beautiful blend of rigorous learning and heart-focused nurturing.
What does that look like day-to-day? It’s students engaging in hands-on lessons, asking big questions, and having meaningful discussions about how their faith fits into every part of their lives. It’s about creating a space where they can think deeply, grow spiritually, and connect with each other and the world around them in meaningful ways.
