the governing board of Myrtle Grove Christian School hosted a parent forum to engage with and form deeper relationships with MGCS parents, who the board refers to as Mission Partners. The ends or goals of the school were discussed at length and an updated version was the outcome of the meeting.
After spending over 20 years in college athletics as a student athlete, coach, and chaplain as well as serving two churches as senior pastor, Dr. David Reid joined our MGCS family this fall to teach 8th grade Bible. His wife Carrie teaches 5th grade at MGCS. They have five children. Here Dr. Reid shares a little bit about some big questions that shaped his journey…
Every Spring, MGCS 5th graders complete a rigorous manners course that spans several weeks and culminates in a reception where they practice and demonstrate these important life skills.
