The Stokleys’ Story

For 35 years, Myrtle Grove Christian School has partnered with parents to educate children using a biblical framework for all that is taught.  We are always delighted when those children grow up, then return to us and enroll their children.   Jeff and Paige Stokley both attended MGCS back in the 90s .  Here’s why they chose MGCS Preschool for their daughter, Bayleigh…

My husband Jeff and I loved our time at MGCS.  I attended from preschool up to 3rd grade, while Jeff attended from preschool all the way through 8th grade.  We both enjoy great memories of chapel, hearing the gospel, and making Christian friendships.  We were there when they built and opened the Family Life Center (which currently houses the great room, our computer lab, 2nd – 5th grade classrooms, and the gym.)  It was so exciting to eat lunch in the new great room.  Those years were formative as we served God at home, at church, and at school–all the time surrounded by God’s word.  These years at Myrtle Grove Christian School established a foundation for us for the rest of our lives.

We live in a rapidly changing, unsettled world, so we want to give our daughter, Bayleigh, the enduring foundation and school experiences we had.   We feel comfortable and very thankful to drop her off in the same warm, fun, Christ-centered environment that we enjoyed.  We know it is safe and that was a huge concern for us.

Bayleigh is thriving in her 3 year old class.  She is getting a well-rounded education with a balance of academics and play time, all within a biblical worldview.  We love that she comes home with sand in her shoes!   Her teachers send home a weekly recap as wells as activities for us to do as a family.  It has been an interactive experience.  Bayleigh loves the songs and prayers.  She is now the one who reminds us to say the blessing.
